Climate change is one of the greatest threats to sustainable development. Communities must be equipped with knowledge and tools to adapt, mitigate, and build resilience.

Nexus Environmental Conservation and Protection Agency (NECPA) and SAWA ECO Energy are the Primary Social enterprise through which we execute our Environment and Climate Resilience programme.

What We Do:

• Promote tree planting and agroforestry through campaigns like School Greening Initiative.
• Support communities in adopting climate-smart farming practices.
• Train youth and schools in environmental conservation.
• Research on renewable energy, waste management, and eco-friendly technologies.
• Community-led initiatives in biodiversity protection and agro-tourism (e.g., Nwoya Agro-Tourism Initiative).
